Meet the New High School Lobby Group……..

The  New High School Lobby Group is a committee of concerned parents and school based Parent Council Members representing the elementary schools and the communities of Linden Woods and Whyte Ridge.  The committee has developed over the last two years, and continues to grow with new interest as we communicate the need for a High School in the southwest sector of Winnipeg.  Through the circulation of a community petition, and communication with various political officials, the High School Lobby Group has worked diligently to draw awareness to this need in our communities.  The High School and Education Forum of December 7, 2005, was hosted by the committee in conjunction with the Fort Whyte by-election.  As the communities in southwest Winnipeg continue to grow, we look forward to supporting the foundation and construction of a New High School for our children.
